We’re trialling a new clear glass bottle in response to your feedback and would love to know what you think!
We love getting away from the farm and meeting our customers at shows and events across the country. It’s great to speak to people and hear your ideas and feedback from recipes or new ways to use the oil, or general likes and dislikes. We take it all on board.
We’re often asked why we don’t use a clear glass bottle to show off the beautiful natural golden colour of the cold pressed rapeseed oil.
Over time sunlight can degrade the vitamins in the oil reducing its nutritional value. The benefit of the green glass is that it filters out the harmful light rays. We’ve recently been told that the affects of light on the nutritional values of the oil are, in fact, very slow. So we’ve decided to give clear glass a go.
We’re running a trial of clear glass bottles which will start to appear in shops over February and March. We’d love to know what you think. Do you like being able to see the colour of the golden oil?
We appreciate you taking the time to complete the form below and as a thank you we’ll enter your name into a prize draw to win a hillfarm hamper of goodies including a bottle of our cold pressed rapeseed oil, mayonnaise, garlic mayonnaise, honey and hand wash and hand cream.
We’ll pick one winner on Friday every week between Friday 12 February and Friday 27 May. To be in with a chance of winning please make sure you give us your email address when you complete the survey and if you agree to receive our newsletter you’ll be entered in to the draw twice!
We’ll publish the results of the survey sometime in April.
